--Small Business Set Aside-- High Pressure Filter Assemblies (HPFA) Build Kits

Scope:

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) has a requirement for the acquisition of High Pressure Filter Assembly (HPFA) Build Kits for the manufacture/repair of High Pressure Filter Assemblies (HPFAs) for fleet outfitting. The HPFA is a bulkhead mounted filtration system housed within an aluminum frame. The HPFA is part of the ships Breathing Air Charging System (BACS). The BACS is used to charge SCBA cylinders with breathing quality air (Grade D) to a pressure of 4500 pounds per square inch. High Pressure Filter Assemblies (HPFAs) are mounted to the ship’s bullheads at various locations throughout the ship. The HPFA provides Grade D breathing air for use in filling SCBA cylinders. These components are technical machined and manufactured parts.

Requirements:

The contractor shall fabricate seven (7) HPFA Build Kits in accordance with the HPFA Bill of Materials and the drawings listed in SOW paragraph 2.3 above. Each Build Kit shall consist of the following items and quantities:

PN: 7245947 Nomenclature: Manifold Block Qty: 1

The contractor shall conduct testing and inspection to ensure, when fielded, the HPFA assemblies meet the requirements of the provided drawings. The test results shall be documented in a report and submitted to the Government. A certificate of conformance shall accompany each HPFA Build Kit.
