The National Park Service, Olympic National Park has a requirement to remove multiple hazardous trees. Olympic National Park has identified approximately 222 trees adjacent to US 101 at Lake Crescent between mileposts 219 and 231.3 that are potentially hazardous. The trees vary in diameter, height, condition, and species. They are widely dispersed along the highway corridor and the requirements for removal of each tree varies in complexity. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and any other required items not identified here, necessary to safely remove approximately 222 hazard trees adjacent to US 101 at Lake Crescent between mileposts 219 and 231.3. Work will also include traffic control and removal of slash and logs.
