The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes. The Naval Facilities Engineering System Command (NAVFAC) Far East, PWD Sasebo is currently seeking interested contractors who are both willing and qualified to provide inspection, testing, maintenance and repair services for the following facilities at Main Base, Hario Housing, and Yokose:
The Government is contemplating issuing a commercial solicitation in accordance with FAR Part 14. The Government is contemplating a one-year base period plus 7 one-year option period (a total potential period of performance of 8 years), single award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type performance based service contract comprised of both Recurring Work and Non-Recurring Work Items.
Please see the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS), Attachment (1), and Exhibit Line Item Numbers (ELINs) for the Fourth Option Period, Attachment (2), from the CURRENT IDIQ for a general idea of the required work. The PWS and ELIN List for the solicitation, when issued, will be updated to reflect additional requirements and/or reduced requirements.
