The Fire and Emergency Services, Emergency Dispatch Operations Center requires a replacement means of alarm signal transmission away from the dependency of copper-based phones lines. The current method of signal communication is copper telephone line transmitting coded signals to the receivers. This has created critical failure points for the reporting of fire alarm signals. The scope of work / proposed solution entails a hybrid system that consists of low radio frequency transmitters and fiber with associated supporting components and equipment. Expectation is that the contractor will execute the hybrid solution along with providing approximately 400 fire alarm low frequency radio transmitters, antennas, fiber associated components and all support components to ensure signal transmission from facilities with existing fire alarm panel to newly installed Kingfisher KFCI MCR2 Alarm Receivers located at Emergency Dispatch Operation Center’s on Camp Arifjan and Camp Buehring.
