Request for Information (RFI) – Fine Arts and Film Academic Workshop Support Services for DODEA Pacific Far East Academics Program.
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the Department of Defense Education Activity – Pacific (DoDEA-Pacific) for the purpose of conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. The Government is seeking capability statements from qualified industry professionals or vendors interested in providing instructional services in support of an annual fine arts and film academic workshop.
This is not a solicitation or request for proposal. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for conducting market research and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitation for Bids (IFB), Request for Quotations (RFQ), and does not obligate the Government to any current or future commitments. The Government will not pay/reimburse any costs or charges resulting from contractors’ responses to this RFI.

Background
DoDEA requires specialized instruction from an organization that will provide professional instructors to teach up to 104 students essential baseline knowledge in creative fine arts disciplines, such as art, graphic design, and filmmaking. The selected organization will deliver foundational expertise to inspire, support, and energize both students and DoDEA teachers on their creative journey. It will create an environment for hands-on, practical applications in creative filmmaking and fine arts, offering mentoring and coaching at a rigorous level throughout the entire creative process. Additionally, the professional instructor will serve as a judge on the review panel tasked with selecting the best overall products and performances using pre-determined rubrics. The event historically takes place in Tokyo, Japan. Instruction is delivered over a four-day event occurring sometime between 1 October – 30 September.
Description of Services Needed
Vendors shall provide logistical support, English speaking instructors, and materials to provide a fine arts and film academic workshop. The Department of Defense Education Activity-Pacific (DoDEA-P) requires an instructional seminar-based academic program designed for high school students, with an emphasis in the study of visual arts and film.

Please note that vendors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the time an offer/quotation/proposal is due to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements.
