THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO BOOZ ALLEN HAMILTON INC. FOR CONTINUED ACQUISITION SUPPORT SERVICES TO THE ACQUISITION POLICY AND INNOVATION (API) DIRECTORATE.

The United States Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Services (WHS/AD), intends to award a bridge contract on a sole source basis to Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. for subject matter experts and technical support analysts to produce deliverables, reports, results and recommendations to support informed decisions relating to program investment strategies, guidance and directives, acquisition strategies and funding allocations for their areas of responsibility and oversight in support of the operation and mission of the Acquisition Policy and Innovation (API) and API missions transitioned to Defense Pricing Contracting and Acquisition Policy (DPCAP) and Acquisition Integration and Interoperability (AI2). 

The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541611, Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. Small business size standard $24,500,000.00. This is not a new requirement; this is a bridge action to cover the period between the end of task order HQ003419F0086 and the follow-on contract. This new action is intended to continue the requirement for acquisition support services for a six-month period of performance while the follow-on progress through the competitive process. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 190, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as implemented by FAR 13.501 “Special documentation requirements.”  

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources that feel they are capable of proving the listed services above may submit a capability statement. All information submitted should support the contractor’s capability to provide the services required and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the sole source contract award will proceed.
